She loves finding bugs in the dirt and brought her camping chair over so she could just sit and enjoy.

They ended the day with 'playground activities' and then singing time and bells. 
We have had a quiet Sunday. After church and lunch I took Annika up to her bed for nap time. We read one story and then she was to go to sleep. I promised her when she woke up we would play in her pretty play room. She said OK and I left to go down stairs. A few minutes later I could hear "grandma....grandma....grandma Sherry...I'm awake and ready to play". It is hard to stick to the rules without laughing. She has finally gone to sleep, along with the rest of the gang here. Guess I had better get off this couch and get dinner started so we can "play". hahahaGrandma sitting between her two oldest grandkids...they are so much fun! "they make me laugh!"
Ben-jamin and Jenna loved having Great grandma read to them....she had only been in CO a few hours.
Aunt Dale loved holding these new little angels reminding her of when she use to hold their parents when they were babies...where has the time gone?
Sam and Becki are in their school choir. Thursday night before we left Sam's choir put on a great show. Here they are singing and doing sign language.
Megan hits the road...can you believe we have a grand-daughter old enough to drive?
All 24 of us enjoyed breakfast at Country Buffet. As Nate was eating his breakfast he told me "grandma these are the best meatballs I have ever had". Meatballs for breakfast turned out to be do-nut holes.
Our last Friday night we had "picnic in the park" barbeque. Harrell's also joined us.

At the end of the day little Steven stopped by this window watching those playing basketball. Jordyn is wearing Becki's blessing dress which was made from Dave's Heather's wedding dress. And Rachel is wearing the blessing dress her two sisters were blessed in. Matt gave two very beautiful and different blessings for each of his beautiful daughters. Rachel was quiet as a mouse but Jordyn had something to say during the blessings. 
These are two amazing parents as they try and meet the needs of not only their two new little daughters, but their other three children. Another sweet family and was a joy to be in their home and feel the love they have for one another and for the gospel.

Marylyn had an emergency C-section on Friday and everything went perfectly. We were still at Dave & Matt's,so very grateful that Andy's parents were in the area to help Andy and Marylyn. His parents had taken Annika to the hospital, waiting in the next room so Annika could see the baby soon after being born. She was so excited to hold her new little brother and rather disappointed that she could not take him home that night.
Andy and Marylyn gave Annika a new little boy doll to care for and it is amazing to watch her copy her mommie in caring for little Gavin. She loves her little brother and happy when he wakes up so she can kiss and hold him. Marylyn says that, so far, Gavin is a perfect little angel...just eats and sleeps.
What a sweet family! Andy's mom will be there until Saturday and I fly in Friday...changing of the guards. Marv will fly in the following week. When we got back to the temple Monday he told his fellow workers "I am excited to get back to sealings....and in two weeks I will be doing floors [Andy wants him to help tile a Laundry floor]. He has some live sealings this these next two Saturdays. We can't wait to hold this newest grandchild and get a hug from Annika. She is just too cute!
The family planned my favorite meal to celebrate my birthday....Mexican dishes to die for! The three Heather's will have to share the recipes...ymmmmm The grandchildren were as excited as I was to see the fun gifts, pictures opened. Thank you all for the phone calls, gifts, and cards!
Heath made my favorite upside down cake which my grandmother use to make for our birthdays when I was a child. Grateful Mikal and Dave did not put on the correct number of candles or we would have started a forest fire.

The Heather's put all 25 grandchildren names in a hat so cousins could pick names for Christmas. Each would pick one name for themselves and then which ever name they chose, they would chose another name for that person. Matt's Heather will be sending out the list. The children really had a fun time and excited about the names they picked out of the hat. Even the twins put their hands in the hat and grabbed a name.
