Kate Ellen was born Friday, August 15, weighing in at a solid 8 pounds, 1 ounce. She's 21 inches long, has a full head of hair and a good set of lungs.

Congratulations! Remember when you came to our 4th grade class to talk about "the new baby" when Ruth was born? I've always remembered that...and now she is having babies...time flies! Tell her congratulations, too. How many grandkids does that make?
