POST CHALLENGE

Ok, I've been challenged...[almost afraid to put this one up]
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I have had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, if we’ve actually met in person or not, anything you remember!

2. Now it's your turn....Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

I remember when I was having a hard time in Junior High, and you would pick me up after school, and I would just talk and talk and talk about all my woes and you would listen. I love that you were always there when we got home from school.

I remember when Ruth and I were living at your place in NP and we woke up on morning to this crazy banging noise...

Upon further inquiry, I discovered that you had found a rat and decided that the rat deserved to be as thick as a dime (maybe a nickel) and you continued to smash the rat with all your strength with the large shovel you had.

You must have whacked it a dozen times or more.

I learned an important lesson that day - never cross you.

It has been so fun having Joe here. We have been talking a lot about our childhood and all our memories. We were just talking about TPing. It was so awesome to have a cool mom who took us Tping. My friends loved coming over to our house. You were the cool mom. You are now a very cool grandma!

I remember coming over for Sunday dinners when we were newlyweds and you always making a fuss over me when we arrived, and John would say "what about me?" You're always good at making people feel welcome in your home.

One of my favorite silly memories is the look on your face the night we were invited for dinner. New missionaries were there as well, and you were having a green meal. I put my pink jello on the table, and you just looked at it, so I proclaimed it to be Methodist jello. While Marv cracked up, you just stood and stared at it before giving me your patented "I understand" smile.
